Looking into a pile of manifestos written over the last hundred years, Verk Produksjoner throw themselves deep into a hurricane of shifting ideas, transformations and artistic insights. The manifestos are often eccentric and even scandalous while they also combine humor, wisdom and alarming demands.
The artists of Verk Produksjoner are known for their epic and vaudevillesque performance style with satirical and political undertones changing swiftly between storytelling, acting and improvisation. Their approach has always been to open up for all the possibilities of the work, mixing different styles and approaches that establish a strong connection with the audience and an intense sensation of here and now. Verk Produksjoner have received numerous awards and rave reviews for their performances. They have premiered work at Black Box teater several times with pieces like The Eternal Smile (2010) and Stalker (2013).
